Is 32 psi acceptable for a custom tire with a maximum psi of 44?

Question:
I bought some custom wheels and matching tires with a maximum tire pressure of 44. Everytime I go to get my oil changed or have any maintenance done, the idiot mechanics keep adjusting the inflation down to 32, the standard stock tire pressure. Is it safe to drive around with the tires that low? Am I wearing down the life of my tires this way?

Check your tire pressure label on the door or door jam.

Do you ever think that people call a vehicle a lemon when in fact;?

The suggested tire pressure should be on the side of your door or in your owners manual. Tire pressure is not decided by which tire you have on your car but rather by the car it self. In other words no matter what tire you have on your car the recomended factory psi for the car is always the same..
