leak on power steering?

DO NOT BELIEVE THEM^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Only one of the answers on top is correct. AWD is automatic. Whenever it senses that the rear wheels are slipping it gives power to the front wheels. 4WD is where you turn it on at your will. If you run an AWD or a 4WD car on the 4x4 all the time then that will mess it up.

car wheels?

A 4 wheel drive you can disengage to run 2 wheel drive (rear wheel drive only) or 4 wheel drive (front and rear wheel drive). A all wheel drive you cannot disengage it is basically 4 wheel drive all the time.

can new tires affect gas mileage?

AWD the vehicle is running as front wheel until slippage then up to 50% of power is sent to back wheels. Four Wheel Drive is running front/back all the time, sometimes you activate the four wheels yourself with a control switch/lever.

what is the best way to wash the car...?

You must put your vehicle in four wheel drive, but all wheel drive is a car that is always in four wheel drive. Most vehicles will displace torque to which wheel needs it on a all wheel drive though, so it may be a two or even three wheel drive vehicle for a short time, but you probably wont be able to tell when this is happening.

Where is the fuel guage sending unit on a 2000 Chevy Blazer?

On AWD all 4 wheels are engaged all the time..... this is a bad idea... it will cause extra wear on the transfer case.... but this is how they are doing it. You cannot choose 2wd at all, it is always 4 wheels engaged all the time.

How do I hook up turnsignals buildt into the mirrors?

4WD you have the option of using 2wd or kick in 4 wd high or 4wd low. 4 Wheel Drive is much better, you are not always using the transfer case all the time. I prefer a vehicle with the 4wd and I have 2 of them.
