96 ranger 3.0L manuil transmission?

Question:
my ranger started to make a sound and everytime i press the clutch i hear like a clicking sound something that is loose, and when i put it into gear itsounds even louder, what could it be?

will diesel or petrol freezes in low temperature?

Could be clutch or maybe drive-line universal joints. Should have a mechanic check and give you an estimate on cost to repair. Fact get 2-3 estimates then decide. Should do this before you also have a towing bill.

sounds like your clutch is going out...good news is you can get a rebuilt for that model fairly cheap.to check if the clutch is going...put the emergency brake on or put your front bumper up against a wall(like a brick factory wall...not the wall of your garage!)...put it in second gear and without giving it gas slowly let out the clutch...if it doesn't stall your clutch is shot....good luck.
