I just replaced the rear wiper on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The wiper barely wiped before but now it does not wipe or even touch the window! Whats wrong with it?

Some wiper ARMS are equipped with a stand off position that allow you to remove the entire arm and blade. It is possible it is simply stuck in that position. You need to look at the end of the wiper arm (where it connects to the Jeep. Does it look like it is held away from the base?It is also possible that the arm is bent out of position. There is a spring that helps pull the arm downwards but if everything is bent, it can not pull it hard enough. If it is five to ten years old, you may want to think about changing the wiper arm.

The wiper arm is bent with it on the window wile it is off try bending it back down towards the window and then see if it works or just turn it on and watch it from the outside and see where it is bent at and bend it back to where it should be it will take a couple of trys but just stay with it and you will bend it back to where it should beMore Questions & Answers ...
