Question:
I have a 2001 Sunfire for about 2 yrs now, but yesterday i noticed that my low coolant light was on, but it didnt stay on, it just came on periodically, my car has not over heated but the thermostat has been slightly higher than the norm, and when i finally got somewhere to check it, the coolant tank was empty, i also noticed that it was leaking from under the car, but it looked like it was dripping in 2 places about a couple inches from each other, so my question is would any of you know what could i do to get this fixed, and about how much it would cost, or if there is a stop leak that would work?

Is there anywhere on the web to find a bench seat for a 1988 Mazda B2200?
Could be that the radiator is leaking, or one of the hoses. I personally would take it into the shop and have then check for leaks unless you are really handy and wont accidentally deploy your airbags or something.nitro buggy wheels keep spinning when u put on the ground it cuts out help.?
Sounds like a hose has cracked. It is very easy to replace hoses if you are coherant with tools. However you need to verify that it is the hose, and not something else. Find a friend that knows something about cars, or your dad. You could take it to a shop, but it would cost you 50-100, depending on how much they charge for labor and if it is only the hose.how much are minimotors to in a shop?
Stop leak stuff does work, but I wouldnt use it if you have a visible leak.
dont use stop leak it will clog the lines go to a garrage and have it
soddered or do it your self.
ENGINE KNOCKING AFTER WASH! help?
hard to repair cars over the net..cars that overheat usually have head gasget issues... why do people keep driving when it overheats or th oil light comes on....get to some place like autozone they can pressure check your system to find the leak.then you can find how much it will cost,it could be from a lot of places.
It just may take a screwdriver twist on the hose clamps screws to fix it. (maybe 5 minutes) But you got to get down and take a look where it is coming from. I can't see from here.
Also, if you run out of fluid do not expect your thermostat indicator to show overheating. It can only do that IF THE FLUID IS THERE.
If it is your water pump, well there is a few more dollars and time involved(but I doubt it on a 5 year old car.) If you do not want to do it take it to any garage. Dealer not required.
how do i change the spark plugs in a 2000 kia sephia?
Just take it to a local mechanic that you can trust and let him or her take a look at it. Something like that could be numerous things. You could have a head gasket leaking, or a freeze plug, or a heater hose, or a cracked head, or just a radiator hose worn out. As you can see, there could be many things and a price could be anywhere from 50 dollars to 1000 dollars or more. Add some water and antifreeze 50 to 50 mix and drive it to the shop. Sorry I couldn't be more help full.does any one know of a good honest front end repair shop for a 2003 grand caravan.?
You most likely have a bad water pump if it is more toward the passenger's side of the car. (Est. $150.00-$300.00)If it is JUST in the very front, it probably is a radiator leak(Est. $200.00-$400.00). Most part stores carry cooling system sealers($4.00-$24.00) that can help. These are really just BAND-AIDS and you will have to eventually change the bad part.Aluma-seal (looks like aluminum powder)
Bars-leak (dark brown liquid with pellets)
Extend (Bio-organic base)
Be sure to read the directions and if you have any questions...
take it to a ASE certified mechanic.
I drive a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with 6 Cylinders 173 W 2.8L and I have a question!?
there are a bout 3 things you could look for.1.freeze plugs
2.heater hoses
3.radiator hoses
it could be other things, but these are the most common things one looks for first. don't expect to get this done very cheap, there is a saying where i am from that says,( you get what you pay for )
so be careful and it depends on who you trust.
probably a leaking hose or water pump, take to a mechanic and get it fixed.
