I bought a 2005 Jeep Cherokee Oct. 05' and have had transmission problems 4 times. How do i report a lemon?

It has been overhauled, new parts and it is just pissing me off. It doesn't seem to make it 5000 miles without the check engine light coming on. What to do?

if you bought it new, lemon law applies if it was less than 1 year or 12,000 miles before the first problem and the other problems happened within the 36mo/36000 mile warranty period. if it was a "program" car or a used car, you are out of luck.
