My van has a flat tire i think it is due to dry rot, anyway I was wondering if I put a can of fix a flat in it along with air would this work till i could get new tires in the back?

If it's dry rot,you want to replace as soon as possible.You don't want the sidewall exploding while in motion.Fix-a-flat my cause tire to burst faster if dry-rot is the culprit.Also when using said item,always let whom ever is replacing/fixing tire ahead of time.That stuff is nasty when you pop the bead.
Not for long, and not safely. Get new tires. They cost much less than an accident.

Fix a flat is only an emergency repair, and the tire technicians hate it! It gums up the inside of the tire etc. Either you can plug or patch the tire, or you need a new one. But as the first answer suggests, it's not worth the trouble or loss in safety to go without new tires if you need them. You can get just two new tires for now as long as they're the same size as the other two tires. May be but you better .. put it in the tire . and hurry to a tire store.Try to air it up and see where it is leaking. If bead is broke from the wheel you might have to jack it up before it will seat with the rim on the wheel to air it up.
