How can i clean my carbon fiber hood (it looks cloudy)?

the hood looks cloudy. when i clean it with water it looks perfect but when it dries it looks cloudy again. help me please! any tips or tricks

Welcome to the world of cheap uncoated carbon... the cloudyness is the epoxy or clearcoat breaking down do to uv and other harmful elements your only options are to to try and buff it out (only works if its a surface oxidation) or sand the whole things down and recoat with high quality clear.

I don't know much about carbon fiber, but I'm fairly sure that it uses the same types of epoxy and/or polyester resins that are used in fiberglass. I would think that the cloudiness is from oxidation, much like fiberglass gel-coat oxidizes over time. I would try a marine gel-coat cleaner/polish.
