I think you are very wise to have the tires balanced first. While you have the car in the shop for the tire balance, have the mechanic check the front suspension for any loose parts. Also have the C/V joints (especially the integrity of the boots) checked. Unfortunately, there are many things that could cause your vehicle to shake, but balancing the tires (and checking for a bent wheel) is the place to start, and it should only take about 15 minutes to inspect the front suspension. If the mechanic finds any faulty parts, he can give you an estimate on repairs. BTW, a 4 tire balance/rotation should cost around $25-$35 dollars.

Check inside of rims for mud or dirt. Also a wheel weight might have come off.Take it to a tire shop and have it checked.

my peugeot 206 missfires at 2000 rpm in every gear, why?

If the vibration starts at 55 , its a dynamic tire balance problem and NOT the tie rod ends. Start by balancing the tires on a high speed computer balancer. Good luck.
