I have a 1995 Blazer. I've taken it three time's for emissions. The problem is my EGR Valve. So, I just got a new one. I was told to put a full tank of gas in it, and put stuff in my gas too [I forgot the name of it] but anyways.. moving on, okay so is there anything else I should know that will definately make my car pass emissions?
Car runs fine for 1hr then suddenly overdrive is disengaged?

You should have the readings from your last test. Add them to your question and also add the limits.what is that bid round thing in the middle of my engine?
Oil & filter change.Fuel system cleaner in a tank of fuel.
PCV Vave.
Air Filter.
If that and the EGR valve does not work you may need to do a tune up with Spark plugs, Distributor cap, Rotor & Spark plug wires. That shoul d guarantee you pass if not then the (O2) sensors are bad and will require replacement.
Where is the alternator located on a car engine?
Engine need to get plenty of air and burn fuel well. so tuneup plus changing air filters. Plus clean mass air flow sensor with correct material so you do not damage. auto parts shop will recommend mtl. As mentioned clean oil etc. plus make sure to give the vehicle a good steady run prior to testing. i.e take for a 15-20 mile drive at freeway speed. also should can do a preliminary test to see if you will pass, so ask for it this way record will not go agains vehicle.More Questions & Answers ...
