Ive got a rover 25 and my front passenger door wont open, can any1 help?

Question:
somebody said the latch might have unlatched itself inside, so i tried to take the door panel off myself ha, but wasnt quit sure how to do it so its a bit loose now and the little metal strip at the top of the panel which i think holds the window in place wont go back on and my window is dropping. i need help!

Weld your doors shut, remove windows & paint car like the "General Lee". Then you'll be able to do neat stuff like this....honest....

Where are the bearings on car engine?

I've had this fault before and the latch had failed internally. You probably won't be able to completely remove the door trim, so you will have to bend it back enough to get your arm in. Then it's out with a Dremel to cut up the latch from the inside if manually tripping the levers doesn't work.
