Renault Laguna Problems?

DO NOT GO BY WHAT THE TIRE READS!! It all has to do with the weight of the car. the vehicle manufacturer has done their reserch on how much the car weighs in the front and in the rear of the vehicle. There is a sticker inside of the driver's door that gives you the recomended tire inflation. Take for instance my car, the tire will hold up to 44 PSI but i do not dare to put this amount into my tires, they will not blow, but they will wear out alot faster plus make for a very bumpy if I put this amount into them. The tire reads something like this "44 PSI at 2500 lbs" so if I had 2500 Lbs on just this one tire I would need to put 44 PSI into my tire. I do not have 2500 Lbs riding on this one tire, but I do have a sticker just inside of the driver's door that tells me "hey this is how much this car weighs and this is how much PSI you should have in the tires. Remember when Ford kept having roll over problems with their Ford Broncos. Ford had a bad problem with the Bronco rolling over. The government was saying that your numbers are to high and to fix the problem. Well for a quick fix Ford came up with an idea to lower their already recommended tire pressure, to make the Bronco more stable. In doing so, now the tires are underinflated for the weight of the vehicle. Now you are going to have problems with blow outs, due to under inflated tires. This is why the Broncos were have blow outs and rolling over so much. So now Ford is faced with all these lawsuits and decides to put all the blame on Firestone tire company. Sorry for going on,and on, and on, but it just makes me sick that Ford had to put the blame onto someone else for their enginering screw up. No I do not work for Firestone, nor have I ever.

It depends on the size of the tires, and how much weight they have to carry, and not on the body style or number of doors.
Look at the small print on the tire sidewall. the recommended pressures should be on there somewhere.

can anyone help me with sae to metric conversions?

It should say on the actual tire. Go to a place that sells tires or does oil changes, and they will be able to show you, and will likely air you up for free. A tip is always appreciated though.

what would be draining the battery on a 1990dodge spirit?

The proper pressure is located usually on the drvers door jam. The number on the tire is MAXIMUM pressure the tire is able to handle. It is not recommended to inflate to this pressure.

how do you program a factory key fob for a 2001 Grand Am,lost old one and replacing with identical fob,but fro

each tire is different you can look at the side wall and it will tell you the max but never inflate to the max, take my tire for instance i have a 205/65r/15 the max on the Pirelli is 44psi i inflate to about 38-40psi. you never want to inflate to the max, air expands when it gets hot when you are driving on a hot summer day at max psi you will exceed the max and run the risk of a blow out

What should you use to clean the electronics on a remote for a car?

My truck has tires that I put 40 psi when running empty, and I add to the pressure as I add load. The tires top out at 80 psi. Obviously I have done somework on my suspension to take all of that weight.
