What kind of oil do I put for a 1990 toyota seca?

Like you brother mechanic I to have been a mechanic for over 20 years. I see that people answer questions here just to get a better rating. I will not answer questions I know nothing or anything about. I answer car questions and have the points I have for answering questions people ask about cars. not just generall bull.
If you look at the people with all the points thy answer anything thy think thy know so thy can say ha look at me I am #1 and am better then you.
People come here for answers not bull but it seems that yahoo did not think about this when thy posted questions. So untill yahoo polices its questions better we have to put up with crap.

Because it is an opinion. I just know what I know and hope that one of my answers can help someone. I know a little but choose not to answer the ones I really don't know! I know distilled water that's easy! Just because I am a girl don't mean sh**!

I TOTALLY agree with you about the knowledge of some people.

why is my car not getting warm until im driving?

Because everyone knows everything. The funny thing is they could answer most of there questions by reading the owners manual. Oh I forgot they know everything they do not need to read it.

1999 Ford ZX2 will crank but it won't start...?

It's not necessarily always distilled water by the way, tap water in this region is acceptable - it's been tested for the purpose. WITH, as you say, a mix of antifreeze for corrosion prevention.

How do you remove the door panel of 92 Geo Prizm if door is shut and interior handle disconnected and no key?

Don't know where you get the idea that the radiator should have distilled water, I always thought that it was for the battery, as all the mechanics I know put tap water in the radiator and the antifreeze is to both stop the freezing and also to stop corrosion.

What is the best way to get swirl marks out of my gas tank on my motorcycle?

i've used tap water for 40 years. never blew a head gasket yet. also, a capful of brake fluid in the radiator will keep the seal on a waterpump lubed and it will never fail from a bad seal., doesn't save the bearings though!

How much does it cost to replace a timing belt on a 2003 dodge neon?

Yea, sure people always want two points. That's why the first answer for any heat problem is 'bad thermostat'.

It's a good thing you know a lot about cars, because you couldn't write for a living.

DTC # po332 knock sensor crk low voltage?

With a 50/50 mix, the minute impurities and chemicals in tap water won't make a bit of difference. As a matter of fact, the fluoride will keep the aluminum from getting cavities.

I have a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim where can i find info to change the middle brake light?

I used tap water for my radiator for 22 years until my Certificate of Entitlement ran out and I had to scrap the car (or export it). I must add that our tap water is very pure and can be drunk off the tap without filtering or boiling.
We don't need antifreeze as we are in the tropics.
Distilled water is only needed for the battery. The car I'm using now has a maintenance-free battery and does not need topping-up with distilled water.

Bitter experience had shown me NEVER to trust a mechanic. They are after the contents of your wallet and care little for your life.

Looking for wiring schematics for the charging system on a 1998 Chevy Malibu 2.4L?

um it is tap water you put in radiators, it doesnt matter as it will not boil anyway seeing as how the radiator cap keeps that from happening, and the only reason water boils is because its unpure (tapwater is unpure but wont boil in a cooling system because its a sealed system thats the point), so lets see we purposely design the system to not boil but then put water in that wont boil (distilled water) that doesnt make sense. tap water goes in there trust me. distilled water goes in batteries. sorry your wrong the only thing that sucks about tap water is calcium deposits but you have to drain and flush your coolant system anyway with distilled water because eventually coolant breaks down no matter what it is mixed with and needs to be replaced
