Your problem is either a bad BCM or Passlock sensor in the ignition switch. I have seen both problems. Check the BCM connector for corrosion at the plug. If no problem found i would replace the ignition lock cylinder and housing. You will need to do re-learn procedure in order for it to start.
You might try the relearn next time it does not start and see how long it last. Sometimes the problem is very intermittent.

Turn on ignition, with engine off. Attempt to start engine, then release key to ON position. Observe the SECURITY light flashing, after approx 10 min it will stop. Vehicle is now ready to relearn passlock data code on next ignition transition from OFF to Crank.
