Question:
tip looks pointy , pls help let me know if this plugs are to advance for this engine, this plugs are made for a 95 maxima and up but i found out that they could be used on an 88 maxima , a my correct? i think the part number is 4503 plugs from bosch,
Answers:
Stick with what Nissan had as an OEM plug, they are usually pretty cheap, maybe $2-$3 a plug. If it says use platinum then go for it, if not, copper is perfectly fine.
Just changing them you may notice a difference in your car running smoother, but you would not be able to tell the difference in a OEM plug and a bosch platinum 4. Plus you would be saving $20-$25 on the plugs.
how do you change the oil on a lancer gsr '98?
I like to use what the manufaturer suggest. Yours probably takes NGK.Bosch Platinum +4s have always been damn good plugs, good for 20,000 miles or so. Used to use them in my civic, and now the dodge..
i have faith in them. buy a set, drive em' for 15k miles, and pull them. see for yourself. They'll look almost brand new unless you've got a cylinder fouling out.
