first you need to disconnect your battery cable,so that your car does not have a chance in starting,or someone walk up and try to start it.locate your sticker on how to place the belt back on,this is very important.make sure you know how it goes back on,locate the tensioner,get a socket and ratchet,pull back and the belt will lossen,remove belt and replace,when you get the belt routed leave the tensioner last,pull it back then slide it on it..hope it helps

.pull back the belt tensioner without loosing it. the belt will get loose.
