How do you know if your car starter is bad?
turn the key on. push the button to flip between the odometer and trip meter on your car and set it on the odometer. turn the key off. hold the trip reset button down and then turn the key back on, still holding the button down. continue to hold for 15 seconds. will flash and be reset. after the first time you do it, will take all of 20 seconds to do.Press and hold the reset button untill your information center starts blinking and once it does that press the button again to reset it. I have an 06 Civic Si and thats the way I reset mine.

Recently took our car in for an oil change at Power Lube or some such place, and asked them about it. For free, they hooked it up to their tester, turned off the warning light, and sent us on our way. It's nice to finally have that light off! I think ours went on because once (last summer) when I filled up the gas tank, I didn't get the gas cap all the way tightened, so the system thought there was an "emissions" problem. It just never resets itself to turn off the light.who knows where i can find parts for a Cummins C-265 V8 diesel engine?
