Question:
the car is a 1997 Olds Achieva, I scraped the front undercarriage yesterday on a rough driveway. I also had two new tires put on the front of the car recently. Either of these could be the source... what is the solution?
Answers:
- Check the bulbs are good (silly, but always start simple)
NO? Check the socket and wiring harness from the light fixtures back... got voltage?
NO? then check fuse (see fuse panel door, owners mnl or repair mnl for fuse assignments).
Did that do it? If not... then the answer is yes, probably bigger problems. DRLs in GMs don't like to last long, personally I believe the poorly supported panels plus road vibration equals dead bulb.
Good luck.
The heater in my car won't work?
