I need to have my car's clutch repaired. It's a 1997 1.6i 16v Escort. does anyone know any costing, anywhere reputable I can get it done and how long it might take? (E Scotland only though) cheers.

Hey dude, dunno about Scottlands repair cost but here in the states a clutch job your looking at about 950-1150 american dollars. it all differs with the shops our labor rate at Mazda is 95 an hour a typical clutch job pays about 6-10 hours labor so your looking at around 1300 with parts minus or plus a few bucks., I cant tell you a good shop there cuz im in USA but i would look at reviews of shops in your area and shop around for a good deal and try to get one that specializes im american cars you might get it cheaper that way.,
