2004 Cavalier, dome light comes randomly?

Question:
when i come to a complete stop, my dome light comes on and goes off when I begin to go. and when i parked the car the light stays on for 30 sec, then off for 30 sec then comes back on and doesnt turn off. this all started when that piece in the door that tells the car the door is open and closed,(sorry dont know exact words there) has been jammed and i have to manually pull it or my light stays onfor 30 sec and radio stay on for a couple of mins. im not sure whats wrong or if they are related.... anyone have ideas?
