Question:
I painted a part once and it didn't work out. It was very uneven. So I'm resanding it and I'm going to paint it again. How can I do it right? I'm using a spray can.
how do you change spark plugs in a 91 caprice?
Should Iuse long continues sprays or should I use very short sprays?
Answers:
Use long continues sprays and keep a stead speed. Don't go to fast or to slow. If you go to slow you'll get runs, if you go to fast its not going to look good. If you are using primer after it dries wet sand it with 400 grit sandpaper to get the primer as flat and smooth as possible. If you are spraying either color or the clear coat use long continues sprays, if you get a run in the color you are going to have to sand the run out and reapply the color, if you get a run in the clear you have to sand the the clear off and apply another coat of color. Use 1000 to 1500 grit sandpaper to get rid of the runs.

where can I get a replacement engine for a fiat punto?
If you are painting with a spray can there are a few steps to take. sand it down. Primer what you are going to paint. Fine sand your primer and add one more coat of primer. Fine sand one more time. Use a precleaner to prep your surface. and when you paint use long full panel sweepsthe biggest problem that you are going to have with spray bombs is lack of coverage and build out, so try to wet sand the old surface as smooth as possible, 600 grit or finer, and use continues strokes from one of the part to the other.
still spray bombs give marginal results due mostly to the relatively thin and poor quality of the paint
