Merc Sprinter 208d "N" reg engine wanted?

Been told that my engine on sprinter is dead , burning oil and unbeleivably smokey although it drives ok - where can i get second hand engine for it in Scotland.

your engine is not dead, you have a head gasket problem on No one cylinder and you are dragging oil in from the timing chain, this is a common fault with the 2.3 sprinter, its not a huge job to fix i have done loads of them at my garage, if a garage has told you that your engine is knackered try a different garage as they don't now their stuff.
