80 f150 302 2bbl ran exc.,then it didnt. Tried everything, but still rough idle. Open-up valve covers now?

Question:
Figured it was a stuck choke 2 mornings ago. Was running while it happened. I pulled into a driveway, then backed out to park on side-right then while creeping backit shuddered and idled rough, and started missing. I figured a wire slipped off or a fuel line was clogged. Nope. Has plenty of power on freeway still, I've pulled, regapped and cleaned all 8 plugs, reseated wires 3 times. Fuel filters aren't clogged,egr has only 2500 mi.on it, plugs,wires,cap,rotor,pvc,cat.... lines,air. filt. all less than 3000 mi. was running real good last two months. Could it be one of those hundred or so vac. switches, or check valves. ? Help guys!
