Question:
If it is a vacuum leak can it lead to other problems? I need to go out of town in a week and it will be an 8 hour drive. I don't have time to get this fixed before I leave. Will this cause any major damage to my engine or will it be safe to go? I need to go on this trip but I don't want to break down on the way.

Won't cause any more problems, but if it is a vacuum leak the car will run rough or poorly, may even be hard to start. For a 8 hr. drive you will wish you had time to get it fixed or will stop somewhere along the way and get it fixed.More Questions & Answers ...
