Question:
1993 Volvo 850 sedan. It is COLD outside (-5 F), and when I start it up, the coolant light is on for a few minutes, but then goes off. When I go to turn on / adjust the fan, the fan does not come on.
Would a bad thermostat or low coolant kill the power to the heater fan motor?
How do you get a coin out of the seat belt "clicker"?
Thank You

Your thermostat has NOTHING to do with your blower motor for the heater.how do I get to the speakers behind the driver and frontseat passenger in my 96 RAV 4?
It could be several things.
Check your fuses under the dash first. It will either be a yellow 20, or green 30.
where is the fues located for the 4 wheel drive on my toyota surf?
If it's not the fuse, it could be :
1) a bad ground to the motor.
2) a bad power wire to the motor.
3) a bad switch.
4) a bad relay.
How much is it going to cost me to get my car repaired?!?
It is possible that your thermostat is stuck. Fill the coolant and check the thermostat. Thermostats are usually in the top radiator hose near the engine block.when you go to get tracking on wheels, is it done per wheel or for all of them?
check the fan switch on the dash.thats what it sounds like to me,a bad switch.Does anyone know the website for this?
The amount of coolant in the radiator will not affect the blower motor. You have either a blown fuse, a bad switch, a bad motor or a bad wire. Find the bad component and replace it to be toasty warm again. Is it really bad to pump gas in a running vehicle?
