On that car as with most nowdays, the battery is actually bolted in. There should be a piece of metal running directly over the battery. If you look down beside the battery along that piece of metal you will see a small block of plastic held in with a small bolt. You must remove that block to remove the battery. And if I remember that car correctly (my ex used to own one) it is a pain because there isn't much room around the battery.How do I diagnose a 97 Chevy s-10 cutting out at constant speed?
