How do I take a battery out of a 2000 Kia Sephia?

I need to take the battery out of the car. I have loosened the charging ports but the battery will still not come out. Can you give detail.

On that car as with most nowdays, the battery is actually bolted in. There should be a piece of metal running directly over the battery. If you look down beside the battery along that piece of metal you will see a small block of plastic held in with a small bolt. You must remove that block to remove the battery. And if I remember that car correctly (my ex used to own one) it is a pain because there isn't much room around the battery.
