How do you adjust the idle speed on a kawasaki gpz550s (1990)?

typical,bike going in two days,but noticed the idle speed is quite low.

Look on top of the carbs. in the middle and you should see a knob you can turn to adjust idle.

There is a couple of screws on your carbs, make sure you've got the right one though as one'll change the fuel mixture to the jets and you'll run lean/heavy if you alter this, best to have your bike running as you do it then you can instantly hear the difference, your idle range should be about 800 to 1000 depending on the oil/fuel you are using. the higher octang/lighter oil the higher idle
