I suggest you start by replacing your normal brake pads with maxi pads. Then, remove your left and right tires and put them on a scale to ensure that they are balanced. It also wouldn't hurt to check that your spark plugs have been rotated, your radiator has enough gas, and your transmission has new wiper blades. While you're at it, don't forget to top off the oil in your battery.
