can i change my civic 1.7engine automatic to a 2.4engine?

Clear RTV works quite well, is inexpensive, and can be reapplied easily....that is, as long as the crack isn't directly above the bulb...high heat isn't a good thing to subject RTV to...

The paint on my car's hood is faded very badly- is there a polish or wax that I can use to make it shine?

The best type of film cover is the type you can have put on the front of your car to protect from rock chips. A lot of detail shops sell this and they usually have small pieces that they throw out when a job is done. You may be able to get just the right size to cover your foglight and protect it from further damage. Most of the ads I have state it as "Invisable Rock Chip Protection". Good luck. If you can't find this film, use clear epoxy to fill the crack, just like they do for rock chips in windshields.

we bought a used car with a warranty and its a lemon?

you dont need film to keep water out of it.just get some clear silicone sealer and put it over the lens, where the crack is at.my headlight did that(got water into it)till i put some of that on the lens and now its ok.
