2000 Saturn?

Question:
to do a do it yourself tune up on a 2000 saturn l series, are the spark plugs located on the engine or behind the engine? I've searched online everywhere for an engine diagram for the saturn, and can't get nothing....I would greatly appreciated if someone helped me on this one.....

Answers:

help, need a center cap?

The plugs are in the top of the engine, at the root of each of the wires.
If you are having trouble finding them, and are looking for information, I recommend that yo purchase a repair manual for the little car. It will pay big dividends in the long run, and they cost < $20.00 at any discount parts store or book store.

Transmission Problem?

I recently did a tuneup on my car (2004 Sunfire). What you do is buy a cheap manual book on your car (year/make) and try your best to follow their pictures (Hanes is one brand I think - found at AutoZone, PepBoys, etc...). You'll need to buy the right spark plug removal socket and a wrench extender if you have an inline engine. Open your car's manual - it will tell you what type of engine you have - then go to google - type in that engine - and you'll see a host of information pop up before your eyes leading to late nights in front of the computer... Enjoy.

How do I wire a 50 amp rv plug?

Well first of all, is your 2000 Saturn L Series a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder? If its a 4 cyl, you need to remove the coil pack off the top of the cam cover. There are 4 10mm bolts to remove, and 1 electrical connection at the ignition module on the drivers side of the coil pack. Once that is removed, the spark plugs inside tubes (hemispherically placed)
If this is a 6 cylinder engine, you have alot of work ahead of you.
You will have to remove the frt and rear intake runners (requires special tool to release clamps on tubes). Once those are out of the way, you will need inverted torx sockets to remove the two coil packs (one in the frt/one in the rear) then below those, are the spark plugs. The spark plugs on the Saturn L series are 100,000 mile plugs. I would highly suggest using OEM parts, as aftermarket plugs can cause issues. I hope this helps you.
