Thinking about it, Im sure Ive seen an adaptor in the local £ shop that lets you run 2 from 1. If its just neatness your looking for then go with the first idea. P.S. dont leave ANYTHING in your car to suggest you have a sat-nav. Its the biggest car crime wave in years.
