Question:
Car is a 92 Accord. The Emergency brake light is not shutting off when I release the E. Brake, causing the ABS light to come on. Is it something to worry about, or is there just a short in the E.Brake wiring?

When it comes to brakes you don't want to mess around take it to a mechanic that you trust and knows Honda. It could be a wiring, relay, fuse problem the two maybe related. The e-cable may be seized.why is my car battery not charging?
Good question you will need to get that checked because I'm driving a 2000 impala and when you use the e brake it actually disengages the ABS braking, so you might want to look at that a little closer friendFord Focus central locking problem!!!!!?
there's nothing to worry abouthow much does a new thermostat for a 1995 Geo Prism cost?
On some cars if the emergency brake cable isn't tight it will send a signal to the computer that will give you a light. It's a safety feature to let you know that the cable could be broke as well as too tight. The brake light doesn't illuminate solely for the ebrake. It could also indicate that you have low brake fluid which could either be worn brake pads or possibly even a brake fluid leak. It is poss that there could be a problem with the ABS but generally you would have the ABS light on also. It could be something as minor as an emergency brake switch. I would get it checked out as soon as possible as it could be a saftey related issue. Brakes..ya know...need 'em?
