1993 GMC Safari Van Rattling going over bumps?

The drivers front wheel keeps rattling when going over bumps on my 1993 GMC Safari van. The noise is tolerable, but annoys me at times. Could it be bad shocks?

Might be shocks, but I'd place money on the ball joints first. (Also make sure its not something like a loose rock in the little hubcap - a long shot I know.)

Also, the channel that guides your door windows will eventually tear loose from the three spotwelds visible at the edge of the door, below the lock mechanism. You will be able to see this as the welds will change from dimples/depressions to actual holes. This will also cause rattling that can be hard to pinpoint. (These can be pop rivited.)

it depends what you mean by rattling, it could be your wheel bearing or your suspension is getting worn, you need to really liten and hear if it is a spining noise or a coil extraction noise

i own a repair shop,and it could be either a bad shock,,or a shock with a busted bushing on it,,that's one possibility,,another is a bushing gone bad ,or a tie rod end going out,id get it in a good warm place and check it out real good ,its probably nothing serious,,but its worth checking real good,,good luck i hope this help,s.
