Where can I download a parts manual for a Campbell Hausefield compressor?
If it was the coolant level sensor that you were told need replacing most of the time on the grand ams the level sensor will stick if the coolant was low this can be fixed by tapping the side of the overflow jug to on stick itIf your heat gage is showing cold all the time you most likely have air in the system
If you have a v6 there is a air bleed on the thermostat hosing and on the heater pipe on the water pump with the car running crack open the one on the pump first till you get coolant coming out close it then go to the thermostat one for this one I find it helps if you let the car run for some time rev it at 2krpm for a few min then kill the engine open the thermostat bleed you should get allot of air coming out then coolant you may have to repeat a few times
If the temp gage is showing that the engine is heating up then most likely your heater core is plugged feel the 2 hoses going in and out of the core if one is hot and the other is cold the core is plugged you can flush it by unhooking the hoses and running a garden hose in to one of them you should have water come out the other end do it to both sides too hook them back up and then you have to do the whole air bleed thing after topping up the coolant hope this helps
maybe the cooling system needs flushing.did you get the right temp.thermostat.feel the heater hose to see if they are hot,if they are, then maybe the heater core is partially clogged up.
would like to find something on rv. replacing engine on 1986 Southwind by Fleetwood RV?
Have you tried back flushing the cooling system? May have some muck in your heater core clogging it up. I would take it to a different garage since any service center should suggest this with the problem you are having.More Questions & Answers ...
