2000 Honda CrV brake lite is on when it's cold.?
This truck has mechanical linkage. It sound like it has a broken cable or something has come loose.Do california dusters work or do they scratch the car?
sadly. tell me more I am about to understand it.Car was dented, whats the chance of getting it fix without spending a penny?
check the linkage on the tranny.if thats ok then it must be in the steering column.ok under your truck (drivers side) where your door meets the fender you should see a lever connecting the shifter to the transmission have someone move the shifter while u look at it. It will make a clicking noise if hooked up properly. If it is hooked up but dosent click then you should take it to a tranny shop it probably has something wrong with the valve body.If it does click but you have no gears there its probably bad trans! ....Dont forget to block the wheels while you are under it.
what are some "pimped out" mods i could do on my 97 camaro?
i own a shop, and id say the linkage has slipped on it, or it has come off inside the valve body, either of these will cause whats happening to yours, try seeing if it will engage in gear at the selector on the transmission,if it wont ,the selector in the valve body had come loose on it,good luck,i hope this help,s.Is an Auto tranny or an Manual tranny faster?
Get under the truck, and look at the driver's side of the transmission, towards the front. You'll see an arm sticking out of the transmission, with a linkage attached by a bolt. Either that bolt loosened up, or your linkage cable broke. Are there any "kits" to repair the rear defrost lines on a car?
the linkage at the bottom of the shifter (under the boot housing) has probably snapped a bolt (or 2) and or has fouled the flywheel that engages the gear. It will cost you a few $$$ but do it now otherwise you'll be forking over BIG$$$ for a new tranny.need new gaskets or seals. try changing the transmition filter and put new fluid in but don't do a transmission flush cause it could mess it up.
