02 ford fiesta 1.6 spluttering and engine symbol light on.any ideas?

gas mileage = fuel injectors
power = fuel injectors, by a little bit
sound = carburetor sounds a little cooler
price = carburetor, by a LOT.
maintenance = fuel injectors, but they're expensive when you do need to fix them.
ability to be worked on = pretty even. Did I mention injectors are way more expensive to replace? :)
looks = carbeuretor just looks more old-school and cool

cheap mustang reapirs?

Biggest thing missed, what will it be used for?

About how much does an emissions system leak cost to repair?

gas mileage- fuelie
power-fuelie
sound-even
price-carb(by leaps and bounds)
maintenance-fuelie
ability to be worked on-fuelie has less parts and carb doesn't need a computer whiz
looks-fuelie( i like the clean look )but that's a preference

my door locks when lifting outside lever on my 98 toyota tacoma, what can i do to fix?

I will address each one and try to be as objective as possible-1. mpg -advantage F.I 2.sound -advantage carb (huge carbs at WOT sound great) 3.power-low to part throttle goes to F.I/ WOT goes to carb 4.price -advantage carb 5.maint.-advantage F.I (zero maint) 6. ability to be worked on (if you mean made to work adaquitly then carb, cause everyone "KNOWS A MECHANIC..." but if you mean made to work good or perform better than stock advantage F.I. as no car has come carb'ed since 1985 and alot of shops(ours included) run screaming from carb problems! 7. Looks - if you are talking OLD SCHOOL HILBORN style (8 pipes stickin straight up) the the injection looks best but if you compare modern injection to a SIX PACK or 2 DOUBLE PUMPERS on a tunnell ram ,then carbs look better

How do I open a car with frozen door locks?

fuel injection, without a doubt, y'all yanks dont get enought of the good jap' imports, the fuel injection revolution happened in the the eighties people! Sure you need to tune the system first, but you have to tune everything for max output, though not if your doing a complete swap, you just design a loom with the factory spec'd bits where they should be! that of course depends entirely on the application!

Do I have to do anything else, like tuning, if I fit a performance air filter to my car?

btw carbs are environmentally unfriendly! go the lambda sic. o2 sensor

will i get more power out of a gm small block 350 if i put 327 heads on it?

multi port fuel injection by far unless you're running a hi-reving motor in which the injectors cant keep up with the demand.. in that case go with the carb.. but a nice shinny Holley always looks nice..

Maintneace, both can be pretty complex, but IMO Carbs are simpler

Looks, its allabout what you like...i cant tell you what lools better, but IMO, Carbs

splash guards?

woo that's a lot of variables,
a good carburetor will kick the **** out of fuel injection in gas millage,
power-fuel injection wins (hence gas millage - - --fuel = power)
what sound?
as for the rest are you building a street rod or something?
Carburetors are simple animals, but fuel injection sells
