How to remove cab light lens on 98 Mack truck, no screws visable?

i also have had two people tell me that they highly doubt that the control arm in the front end has caused the line to weaken because of hitting it. now i did take it in to one shop that told me that it is indeed the control arm that is responsible for the leak , because it was hitting it, out of the two other mechanics, one of them looked also and told me that its because the line is rusty, and the other one said that there is no way that the control arm is at fault. so insteead of going to a fourth mechanic how can i really know for sure as to why it is leaking, from your opinion, is it possible for the control arm to be rubbing up against the gas line? i drive a pontiac sunbird.

To determine if rubbing cause the line problem you would have to look and see if the line is thinned from friction where it is leaking. I assume that your line can be moved a little bit to keep from rubbing. As for repair. You need to look at the line and decide how much line you need to remove to have the bad area out. For example let's say you are going to remove an inch of line. Go to an auto parts store and get a three inch piece of rubber fuel hose, and four clamps, and a line cutter. With the line cutter cut out the section of line, some fuel will run out. Place one end of the rubber hose on one side of the cut line, put the four clamps on loosely. Then push the other end of the hose onto the line. I always put two clamps on each side of the break to keep from having leaks later on ( cheap insurance ). Tighten the clamps tight and you should be ok. Start your car and look at it to make sure it is not leaking. If it does tighten the clamps a little more. Hope this helps.

what is a good wheel repair shop in maryland?

not sure but this sounds like a brake line to me i know of no fuel lines that run past a control arm where the up and down movement would rub a hole in it. if it is a brake line then you need to have it replaced and bled by someone who knows how to do this properly.
