Question:
I have a 91 Celica...the body is in excellent shape and i want to buy a body kit and add some extras before I even go up under the hood. This is my first time doing something like this and I am having a hard time finding websites that are EASY to navigate searching for parts, concepts etc. Any suggestions?
Answers:
would two t3 turbos be enough for 350sbc it is stock except for forged pistons?
Congrats...Celicas are great cars.I would suggest...
You have to choose what you want to concentrate on first.
Body (looks), Engine (performance), or Interior (inside the car).
Does anyone out there know what the coloured part on the wheel behind the alloy is called?
Bodykits are generally the easiest...but keep in mind the quality of the kit and the cost of installs.
I've had people buy a kit and then get lost on the install process.
Painting is an important issue.
If you just get the kit painted...the rest of the car wouldnt blend right....EX...A freshly painted front bumper...then look at the possibly faded hood and fenders.
So...sometimes you will have to look at doing a partial paint job on the rest of the car or at least where the new parts are put on at.
That way...it wont look 2 tone.
engine wise...it depends on the miles you have on it.
Depending on the "age" of the motor...I sometimes suggest a JDM endine swap.
you will gain more HP over the US model and have lower mileage.
Then you can do some more stuff to the internals if you like.
No need getting a high mileage motor with 175k+ and trying to add a turbo on it...unless you had it rebuilt.
Try putting together a budget first.
Then set up a time frame of when you want/need certain mods done.
And keep an active imagination.
Dont let others rip you on what you want to do to your car.
Everyone has different tastes and opinions.
If you have any Q's just shoot me a msg and a couple photos of your car and I can give you a consultation on hooking it up.
Check for local car clubs....especially ones that focus on small imports.
can the headrest in the2007 sport trac be removed if so how?
first....I wish You luck.then You are in New York...Yellow pages..... look in the fiber glass shops.
they are the top of the line in concepts.
Why can't I put mor than 5 gallons of gas in my '88 Nissan 300Zx??
