If you mean taking a wheel of as a unit from car then crack the nuts loose before jacking, then jack and remove wheel. Install wheel, snug up the nuts but don't tighten yet. Lower vehicle and tighten nuts up in a cross pattern. If jacking on soft ground place a piece of board under the jack, check with manual or a mechanic to see where you should be putting the jack under the car.
