Apart from the obvious which appears to have been pointed out several times above reference making sure you take your foot off the gas before depressing the clutch, you may also have a noisy release bearing which is having a good old scream at you when you depress the clutch pedal, in which case you may aswell have th clutch replaced as a three piece unit.
Apart from that, if it only does it under hard acceleration conditions then it could be a built in facility for keeping the revs up to assist in the initial acceleration after each gear change.

First, have Jiffy Lube, or similar, check your transmission's oil level if it is an automatic. If it is a manual transmission, you need a new clutch plate.Please tell me its not, as all above seem to think, that you’re leaving your foot on the accelerator when you depress the clutch?

It could be that for some reason your throttle is sticking. When you rev the car (not in gear) does it return to idle as soon as you take your foot off? You're probably best advised to have it checked out at a garage..... I don't think you'll have much joy here.

sounds to me that your release bearing is worn out - you`ll need to get the gearbox removed to get at it so while your in there get the rest of the clutch replaced as well.Does mixing 50% petrol with 50% alcohol make a car faster?
