Question:
I took my truck to AAMCO Transmissions because it felt like the trans was going out. They replaced the trans and said it was good to go. i paid $1900.00 and the truck was still messed up so I took it to another shop and they replaced a couple of sensors and my converter.
I called AAMCO and they said to bad. Now what?

I had something similar happen.Obviously the problem was not your tyranny. The first & most important thing you need to do ,is go get your old tranny ASAP!This is very criticle.Contact the Bureau of Automotive, and the Better Buisness Bureau. The tranny will be inspected by the Bureau Of Automotive, and upon conclusion,if it turnes out the tranny is good, the Bureau will contact AAMCO and demand you a full refund or Pull their licence.Time is of the essence!I dont no how long they have to keep your old tranny. But i do know by law they have to give the customer the oppertunity to look at or retrieve their old parts, unless they used your old tranny as a core, which i doubt because of the price you paid for your new tranny.Even so,i think you or the Bureau can get it back.Save any & all documents from all shops involved and try to get a letter from the shop that changed the sensors. This will all help in your case, & believe me, YOU do have a CASE! Dont give up,i wone my case & so can you.GET THAT TRANNY NOW! I hope this helps. Good Luck. TRENT PS. Your first mistake was taking it to another shop. After paying that much you should have taken it back and told them it wasn't right, and given them a chance to correct whatever mistake they made (if any, it could have been a new problem). By taking it to another shop you lost out on that opportunity.Trouble with caravan hot water heater. Any one know anything bout caravans??
"Of course it runs great" they will say "Because we changed the transmission. If something else happened after that, he should have brought it back." And that will be the end of it.
You should have taken it back to AAMCO for further repair, instead of someplace else, unless the warranty was expired.
Fiero coughs and lags when accelerating quickly, tach seems to spike and idle is inconsistant?
This is the reason I harp on this site about never taking your auto to a transmission store like AAMCO.

hate to say this but I think your out of gas(no pun intended) you should always get a 2nd opinion or even a 3rd. my inlaws took their caravan to Aamco and spent $1700 on a new tranny but really only needed a new torqe converter ($600 job) I tried to help them get some kind of compensation for them but your signature on Aamco's contract sealed you in. Sorry to hear this but Good Luck.More Questions & Answers ...
