1998 Ford Mustang Cobra?

Question:
So i have a 98 cobra and the check engine light comes on every once in a while. i got advanced auto to check out the diagnostics and it pulled up the code P1516 which has something to do with the imrc's. Then i got my buddy to look it up on a more technological computer and it said about the same thing. is it just that the valves in the imrc's are getting sticky or stuck with carbon or what? i tried seafoam down the pcv hose but doesn't seem to help. any suggestions aside from ripping off the whole intake?

run a can of injector cleaner through it , plugs into the fuel rail and runs off it :)
