I took my truck to it's dealer for repairs (running rough, misfiring, etc.) $600 later, the problem is still not fixed.
How much would it cost to replace both tie rods on my 93 Honda Civic?
I feel they either didn't do the work they claimed or they did the wrong work. What rights do I have?
I feel I should get a refund for the fact nothing was fixed.
I bought the truck 4 weeks ago, it ran fine until the dealer filled the tank with obviously cheap gas. They even admitted a few other cars were having the same issues. But they refused to address the issue of the bad gas. I asked them to drain and flush the tank, replace the filter, etc...a general fuel system repair.

They told me they'll "put it on the computer and see what the issue is". Then came back and told me it needed a general tune up...plugs, boots (they claimed number 8 was misfiring) and an injector service. Totalling just under $600. On the way home, it started up again. Nothing was fixed at all.

you generally have 30day warranty on anything that they did.if you brought it in for a specific problem and it has not been repaired ,take it back.they should warranty it for you.if not ,inform them that you will call the better business bureau.but first try to speak to the manager.if this is a manufacturing dealer,tell the service dept. that you want to speak to the owner.

They will just fix it or have it fixedYes you have recourse. file a formal (written complaint) with their service dept and if no action, 2-3 days then contact your better business bureau as well as the vehicle manufacturer. Be sure to save copies of all correspondence and invoices. also your state may have a lemon law that may allow you to return the truck for a full refund. Check your state bureau of automotive repair, probably have web site or at least be in the yellow pages. I would think you should not be charged in the first place as a new vehicle is warranty, if new.

If I were you, I would call the dealer, speak to the manager and inform them that the problem is still not fixed. I don't think the dealer wants any complaints. If they turn around and tell you the problem is from some electronic module, then I'd be mad, because it was already diagnosed by a computer.
