Can you mount a 2.2l tranny up to a 4.3l engine?

im swapping my 2.2l 4-banger for a 4.3 v6 and i need to know whether i need a new tranny or not.

Only if they used the same transmission on both engines...the only application I ran across where the 2.2 and 4.3 used the same one was on the S10 Blazer...

Yes, you will need the new transmission, and not just for mechanical reasons. The 4.3 will not mate to the Toyota transmission and bell housing. Use the transmission that goes with the engine.
You will also need to do this for emissions reasons. Laws require that if there is a transplant of power plant, the transmission must come with the engine.

If you never change the transmission oil, what in specific is likely what wears out, clutches, plates, ... ?

Not even a way to kluge that marriage.
