The fan in my Jeep will only work on high?

Question:
I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport. Recently, I discovered evidence that a mouse had made its home in one of the ventilation ducts of my vehicle. It's not there anymore, but now the blower will only turn on to its highest setting. Any ideas of what might be going on? Serious answers only please. Thanks much!

I have a 1999 Ford F-150. The heater/Ac does not shift warm to cold. Blower switch/panel switch works okay.?

On my 98 c1500 the rear right side the brake/signal/ reverse light dosent work, only tail light, any ideas?

It sounds like the fan speed resistor has gone bad. I'm not sure exactly where it is on a jeep, most cars have it mounted under the hood in the plastic heater box. (it should have a 3 -4 wire plug)
I would pull out the fan motor to be sure there isn't mouse nest stuff clogging up the fan.

What is the difference between a hammer drill and a battery drill?

YES THE HEATER HAS A 3 SPEED RESISTOR WHICH GIVES YOU LO MED HI WHEN IT GOES OUT YOU ARE LEFT WITH ONLY HI SPEED .YOU PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE BLOWER

clunk in my drivetrain?

sounds like perhaps mouse droppings or bedding preventing it from turning on low or med not fast enough to move the garbage outta the way or you need a new switch .. one or the other i would say
