Hi there Vauxhalls have a common problem with this its usually the idle air control valve thats gunked up, however just cleaning with brake cleanr wont always cure it i would have it ultrasonically cleaned thats what i do if there is someone local who recons injectors then they should have an ultrasonic cleaning bath that will do it, also there is a small pipe that runs from the cam cover to the throttle body assembly that gets bunged up this can be cleaned with a 6 mm drill bit or some welding wire, in both cases though the car will need to go on a code reading machine and in some cases to a vauxhall dealer as the idle speed may need resetting and this can only be done with a pc and the right software or a vauxhall tec systemwhat makes your checkengine lite stay on?

it could be a problem with the choke on the carburetor or you might have a loose wire or connector on your starter. have a mechanic check these if you don't know where they are. most motors, the starter is on the bottom of the engine. hope that helps.Adding tranny fluid to a manual?
i own a repair shop,and a bad throttle position sensor will cause one to die like this ,when you let off the gas like that,,id have it scanned and see if it shows any bad trouble codes this will help in determining whats wrong with it,,good luck hope this help,s.Could you put a dirt bike engine in a pocket bike?
It could be one of two things !1, there is a leak in your air intake some were taking to much air in and thats causing the stall..

its probably your air idle control valve but you need to get a diagnostic done to confirm this, if i am right don't renew it immediately, remove it and give it a good spraying with brake cleaner, carbon and filth builds up in side and the brake cleaner should shift the filth and get things working again.More Questions & Answers ...
