Question:
I took my 1998 Chevy S-10 4 Cylinder 2.2 liter in to get inspected. The mechanic plug the machine in to the OBD port on my truck. The truck was in acc and everything but the machanics machine could not read my vehicle like the OBD port was not working on my truck. What could be causing this? I haven't done anything major to my truck in the past year except change a windsheild wiper fuse and change the altnator. My truck passed inspection at the same garage a year ago. What is going on here that the OBD port in not working. I really need to pass the inspection so I don't have to pay a huge fine!
