its fuel injected i try to start it but it spits and supders ive changed the fuel filter plugs and wires but still can not figure out whats wrong with it when i do get it runing it runs very rough and doesnt stay idleing can any one help thanks

fuel pump inside fuel tank is weak needs replace or can ot tuel injector cleaner might help just pour it in your gas tankOk, brace yourself. First off its a late 80's model ford midsize car with that being said alot of those cars were ran down and neglected like crazy. Not to say it was a bad car it just wasnt a very desireable one. With that in mind , right off i can imagine the whole fuel system needing a complete run through. The tank needs to be dropped and checked for tank sedament, filter screen needs to be changed, fuel pump needs to be preasure checked, fuel lines need to be flushed, fuel filter, preasure regulator, and injectors need checked or changed as well. without any of that youre gonna be chassing problems all day long.
