Question:
Why is it that when one defrosts the windscreen of a car,(full heat) the A/C compressor kicks in. This happens to all the cars I have driven with Air Conditioning.
Answers:
How much does it generally cost to switch a manual to an automatic??
Ever see a car on a hot day sitting, idling with the A/C on and water dropping on the ground? Same principle, the moisture in the air condenses on the A/C before entering the cockpit.
How do i debadge my car without wrecking the paint, thanks?
Easy Cheesy.. have a good day
You may be hearing the blowers kicking in not the a/c.
Does it feel like cold air is blowing unto your windows.?
Check your settings in your car..or have your thermostat check to see if it is working properly.
Just as shovelkick said.....
Shovelkick gives a good explanation of why you hear the A/C compressor running in defrost. And he,s exactly right.
