Question:
Last night we had a bad storm and it caused a power outage. When the power came back and I tried to turn my PC back on it wouldn't turn on.
I looked to see if there was the little lights on the back of the PC but they also where not on.
What pressure are my 206 tyres meant to be?
I opened my case and i could see any burnt marks.
could it just be the power supply or could i be up for a new computer?
Answers:
I would assume the power supply , I had a computer at work that blew the power supply after the power kicked out , I think it was a surge rather than lightning but the surge protector was still working afterwards .
Power supplies are rather easy to check , you can buy a tester for under $10 or use a voltmeter if you have one handy .

Check engine light...... bad "vacuum switch valve"?
I would say that the storm got your computer power supply, now that you learned a lesson go get a good surge protector for it where it runs off of a battery instead of being directly plugged into the electric outlet, best buy carries a real good one for $110.00 and it is well worth it if you have a storm and the electric goes off and then comes back on.More Questions & Answers ...
